AI Strategy and Consulting

Figure out what to automate, how to build it, and in what order. Before you write any code.

WHAT THIS IS

AI consulting is the work that happens before building: assessing which parts of your business are ready for AI automation, identifying the highest-impact opportunities, designing the technical architecture, and creating a phased implementation roadmap. The goal is to avoid building the wrong thing, or building the right thing in the wrong order.

Why Strategy Comes First

Most failed AI projects do not fail because of bad technology. They fail because the problem was poorly scoped, the data was not ready, or the implementation targeted a process that did not need AI in the first place. A strategy engagement identifies the real opportunities, validates feasibility, and produces a plan that accounts for data readiness, integration complexity, and organizational adoption.

The AI Readiness Assessment evaluates your current systems, data infrastructure, and operational processes against a structured rubric. It produces a score across five dimensions: data maturity, process documentation, integration complexity, team readiness, and expected ROI. The result is a clear picture of where you are and what needs to happen before implementation begins.

How Consulting Engagements Work

A typical engagement has three phases. First, discovery: we audit your existing systems, interview stakeholders, map your current workflows, and catalog your data sources. Second, analysis: we evaluate each potential automation opportunity against feasibility, impact, and effort criteria, then rank them. Third, roadmap: we produce a phased implementation plan with architecture diagrams, integration specifications, and sequenced milestones.

Consulting Deliverables

  • AI Readiness Report: A scored assessment across five dimensions with specific findings and recommendations for each.
  • Opportunity Matrix: A ranked list of automation opportunities with feasibility, impact, effort, and priority scores for each.
  • Architecture Blueprint: Technical architecture for the recommended implementation, including system integration points, data flows, and infrastructure requirements.
  • Implementation Roadmap: A phased plan with milestones, dependencies, and estimated timelines. Each phase is scoped to deliver measurable value independently.

What the Client Gets

A complete strategy package: readiness assessment, prioritized opportunity list, technical architecture, and phased roadmap. The deliverables are designed to be actionable whether you build with us or take the plan to another team. Every recommendation includes the reasoning behind it, the data it is based on, and the assumptions that would invalidate it.
